Σatellart -transmitting Greece, the
only platform for the promotion of contemporary Greek culture in Europe,
performs in Vienna from November 7 to 10. The Rootlessroot dance company will
stage its performance Eyes in the Colour of the Rain at the Palais Kabelwerk,
on November 7 and 8. The performance is a comment on dishonesty and corruption,
distinct elements of Western culture and the Christian religion.
On November 9, the well-known singer Savina Yannatou and the Ensemble Ex Silentio will be
presenting a panorama of medieval music dedicated to various Mediterranean
music cultures. On the same day, Thymios Atzakas runs a workshop on eastern Mediterranean music
traditions, at the Institute
of Music Science.
