Sunny @ Sani Festival

With twenty creative years behind it, the Sani Festival has proven its credentials and its inexhaustible passion for the arts. Already in progress, the festival offers a rich program of concerts and more, in the beautiful Sani area of Halkidiki. It promises a complete experience for the visitor, one that combines holidays in nature -stunning beaches and lots of greenery- with cultural events.

The "Sounds of the World" program for 2013 features Belgian world-music composer Myriam Alter who draws on her cultural roots in the Sephardic tradition to enchant the audience (20/7).

The Greek Music program features Savina Yannatou who will present a range of works specially chosen for the Sani Festival, ranging from Mediterranean music to compositions by Manos Hatzidakis and Lena Platonos, while Dimitris Maramis has set to music the Erotokritos of V. Kornaro, to be premiered as Erotokritos in Blues & Improvisations (3/8). Manolis Mitsias with Afrodite Manou and Yannis Miliokas will close the section with a concert of "Songs that last."
